mc donald's: go active

Maya, AfterEffects, Photoshop Markom / Leo Burnett commissioned us with preparing a 10-second short product animation (pack shot) for the latest McDonald's advertisement "Go Active". The live footage part of the commercial was produced by Dinamo Istanbul under direction of Yücel Yolcu.

While keeping the dynamic feel of the "Go Active" concept, we gave the products a feeling of lightness through the bouncing and hovering animation. The setup was kept at minimum as to allow proper product exposure.

We have also changed McDonald's "I'm lovin' it" default black background color into lively green in order to emphasize the natural and healthy nature of promoted products.

Design and art direction by Çiğdem Keresteci, compositing and animation by Quba Michalski. Music provided by the client. Live action sequence by Dinamo Istanbul.
