renault: target (hedef renault)

AfterEffects, PhotoshopTarget: Renault (Hedef Renault) is imago's first work for Yorum agency. We were asked to prepare three 30-second ads based on the print campaign for Renault's latest promotion.

Original advertisements presented the cars on the infinite grid planes - we decided to develop the scenery into retro-3D city. Working with grid textures and boxes allowed us to shorten development times, as well as to contain the entire project within After Effects, rather than combining AE and 3D graphics.

Final version was further stylized using tv-like moire patterns (not visible in small videos), lens distortions and fractal-mosaic picture scan for the part where image is getting enhanced from low resolution to full-screen. Ferit went orchestral for this piece, creating action film themed music.
